Course Specific Policies on attendance, late work, make up work, examinations if outside normal class time, etc.:
Attendance is mandatory. One absence for the semester will be allowed; however, you are still responsible for information presented in class (See "Grading"). Lateness or skipping out early will count towards an absence and will lower your grade. Two absences, for any reason, will lower your final grade by one letter grade. You will fail this course in the event of third absence! Any class related information that is missed as a result of extenuating circumstances is available through an appointment with the instructor. A missed class is never, under any circumstance, an excuse for a missed assignment. If you are not in class on the day an assignment or sketches are due, it is your responsibility to get it to me via email on that same day.

Incomplete’s will be granted only in extenuating circumstances. If you have a valid medical excuse or family emergency, and you've completed the bulk of course work for the semester, an incomplete is possible. You are responsible for initiating the paper work for an incomplete.

You can reach me at any time via cell or email. Texting me if you really need me works probably better than anything for a rapid response, but I’m pretty good about responding to emails quickly as well. If you do feel as if you need to text me, please introduce yourself first so that I know who you are.

Disability Needs:
I invite any student who has a documented disability to meet with me during office hours to discuss ways to arrange accommodations in order to complete the requirements and expectations of this course.
